Coronavirus Diary Day 14: March 26, 2020

You guys, do you remember when Australia was on fire? Doesn’t that feel like 5 years ago? I mean, unless your Australian, of course. I don’t have anything to say about that, but I thought I should mention it.

Today was a beautiful day. The sun shined brightly. The temperature reached nearly 60 degrees Fahrenheit. I took the dog for 3 long walks in the neighborhood. I worked my legs, glutes, and abs early this morning, thanks to Kit Rich’s YouTube channel. At lunchtime, I participated in Ryan Heffington’s Instagram Live Dance Party. Immediately after, I video chatted with my college roommate  – who had danced along with her husband and her two teenagers – to compare notes. We were all covered in sweat. Then, I built a lamp.

I built a fucking lamp.

The Hubs is working his ass off. Like, conference calls – morning to night. Through it all, he’s calm, cool, and collected. His work/life balance is remarkable. He’s nice. He’s level-headed. He doesn’t make fun of my dance skills. Thank God for this man. I don’t know what I did to deserve him, but I’m damn glad I have him.

I told you I wouldn’t talk about numbers more than 3 times per week. But I think it’s important to mention something today. The USA officially surpassed China with the overall highest number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in the world. I saw this coming. I mean, didn’t you? America now has 82,547 cases, an increase of 14,336 overnight, which is 1,262 more than China. And… I’m done talking about that.

I’m gearing up to watch Episode 2 of Tiger King, because isn’t everybody?

Tomorrow, it rains… maybe. Please, please don’t rain.
